About Me

People, Passion, Performance

I was born and raised in Montreal, where I played junior tennis until the age of 16, when I was sidelined by a wrist injury (and a lack of skill). As the son of two professors, I quickly found joy in coaching and I've never looked back.

In the years since, I've been fortunate enough to work both at seasonal and year-round clubs, both private and public. I spent four years coaching at the largest indoor tennis club in North America, the Nun's Island Tennis Club, before moving out west in 2015. I am now the Director of High Performance at The Tennis Centre Coquitlam, located in the Greater Vancouver Area, where I oversee the development of our international and national level juniors. I also manage our status as a Tennis Canada-recognized Tennis Development Center — the only Silver TDC in Western Canada.

My career to date has included a few notable highlights. In 2018 I was the Tennis BC High Performance Coach of the year, and in 2019 I was the Assistant Coach for Team Canada at the Junior Davis Cup, and I was presented with the TPA Gary Caron Award at the Rogers Cup. I've also been lucky enough over the last 5 years to have spent time as Sharon Fichman's travelling coach on the WTA tour, and have gotten the chance to travel to Mexico, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Florida, and all across Canada. Last month, I hit a tweener passing shot. That was pretty cool.

I'm a Tennis Canada Coach 3 and PTR Professional. I'm sponsored by Babolat.
